A: I need to make an appointment with Dr. Kim.

B: He’s available next Monday.

A: Is there any way I can see him this week?

B: As long as there no cancellations before then, Monday is the best we can do.

A: I know it’s a lot to ask(I hate to ask), but can’t you reschedule one of the others?

B: I’m sorry, but I could get into a lot of trouble for that. I’ll see what I can do but I can’t make any promises.
